Dexaflow Cloud Beta Terms of Use

Version 2026-10-13 Last updated: October 13, 2026 Leia em português

These terms govern the closed beta of Dexaflow Cloud, the managed version of the Dexaflow engine run by DexaData. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy and the beta limits, which form part of them. In short: the beta is free, by invitation, for organizations only, comes with no SLA, has usage limits, and your data may be deleted. Do not put production data, production credentials or sensitive personal data in it.

1. Who we are

The beta is provided by Data Analytics and Engineering Ltda. (trade name D-Analytics), CNPJ 28.918.992/0001-50, with registered office at Avenida do Contorno, 2905, Loja 01, Santa Efigênia, Belo Horizonte, MG, CEP 30110-915, Brazil ("DexaData", "we"). "Beta" means the Dexaflow Cloud console at flow.dexadata.ai, the engine environments it creates for your organization and the related APIs, during the closed beta period. "Customer" means the organization on whose behalf the Beta is used; "you" means the Customer and the person who signs up and uses the Beta on its behalf.

2. Acceptance and versions

You accept these terms electronically by ticking the acceptance box in the console before you create an organization or open the engine, and you agree that this electronic acceptance is valid proof of the agreement. We keep a record of each acceptance: your account identifier, the email of the account at that time, the version of the terms, the date and time, and the IP address the request came from. Every version of these terms has a version line at the top of this page, and earlier versions are available on request. When we publish a new version, the console asks you to accept it again before you continue; if you do not accept it, you must stop using the Beta, and section 10 applies.

3. Who can use the beta

  • The Beta is closed and by invitation. Only email addresses that we approved from the waitlist can sign up. An invitation is personal and cannot be transferred.
  • The Beta is offered only to organizations, for professional use in their business activity, and not to consumers. You must sign up with a corporate email address; personal email providers are refused.
  • By signing up you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you are authorized to accept these terms on behalf of the Customer, which is bound by them.
  • During the Beta, the service is not offered to organizations established in the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland. Do not sign up on their behalf.
  • One organization per person and up to three users per organization during the Beta.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for what is done with your account. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Free, experimental, as is

The Beta is free of charge and experimental: it exists so that we can test the service with early users. It is provided "as is" and "as available":

  • there is no SLA and no commitment on availability, performance, durability of data or support response times;
  • tasks run on shared, preemptible capacity and may be interrupted, restarted or delayed;
  • features may change, break or be removed at any time, and some Apache Airflow features are not supported;
  • to the extent permitted by law, we give no warranty, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, and the Beta must not be used for workloads whose failure could cause significant harm.

5. Limits

The Beta has usage limits per organization (users, active DAGs, schedule interval, runs per day, concurrent tasks, task duration, resources, network access and others), listed on the beta limits page. Limits may change during the Beta; we will update that page when they do. Some limits are applied automatically and others by monitoring and manual action. Going over a limit, or trying to get around one, may lead to tasks being stopped, DAGs being paused or access being suspended.

6. Inactivity and data deletion

  • Inactivity. We may suspend or delete beta accounts and organizations that are not being used. Before we do, we tell you by email at the address of the account.
  • Data may be deleted at any time. During the Beta, data in the Beta (DAGs, run history, task logs, variables, connections and secrets) may be deleted or lost at any time, including because of failures, changes to the service or the end of the Beta. There is no fixed retention period for task logs or run history: do not rely on them as storage.
  • Notice of deliberate deletion. When we decide to delete an account or organization, we give you reasonable notice by email first, so that you can copy what you need, except in a security incident, in case of abuse or breach of these terms, or when the law or an authority requires otherwise.
  • End of the Beta. When the Beta ends, we delete all its data within 30 days, unless you move to a paid plan, if one is offered, or we must keep some data by law (see the Privacy Policy). Copies in database backups expire within 7 more days.
  • Keep your own copies. Keep your DAG code in your own repository and your own copy of anything you need. We do not keep backups for you; our database backups exist only to recover the service.

7. Acceptable use

You may use the Beta only to build and run data pipelines for lawful purposes. You must not, and must not let anyone else:

  • mine cryptocurrency or run any other workload unrelated to data pipelines;
  • scan ports or networks, run vulnerability scanners or perform penetration tests without our prior written authorization, including against DexaData;
  • send spam or other unsolicited messages;
  • run proxies, VPNs or traffic relays, or take part in denial-of-service attacks;
  • host or distribute malware;
  • get around limits, isolation, sandboxing or access controls, or try to reach other organizations' data or the platform's internal systems;
  • create several accounts or organizations to multiply limits;
  • process sensitive personal data (LGPD, art. 11), personal data of children or adolescents (LGPD, art. 14), or any personal or production data without a legal basis;
  • store or process illegal content, or content that infringes the rights of others.

We may stop tasks, remove content and suspend access immediately when we have reasonable grounds to believe these rules were broken, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities.

8. Your data and credentials

  • Do not use production data, production credentials or sensitive personal data in the Beta. Use test data and credentials created only for the Beta, with the least privilege possible (read-only and a test schema or dataset when you can), and revoke them when the Beta ends.
  • Store credentials in Dexaflow connections and variables, never in DAG code. Do not print secrets in logs: masking is best effort.
  • You are responsible for the content of your pipelines and for what they do, including the data they fetch from or send to other systems. You will compensate DexaData for losses and costs arising from third-party claims caused by your breach of these terms or of the law, including processing personal data without a legal basis.
  • DexaData will never ask for your password by chat or email.

9. Data processing terms (pipeline data)

This section is the data processing agreement between the Customer, as controller, and DexaData, as processor (operator, LGPD art. 5, VI and VII, and art. 39), for personal data that the Customer puts into the Beta or processes in its pipelines ("Pipeline Data"). For Pipeline Data it prevails over the rest of these terms.

  • Subject, nature and duration. Hosting and running the Customer's DAGs and tasks and storing their code, metadata, logs, variables, connections and XCom values, for as long as the Customer uses the Beta and until deletion under section 6.
  • Data and data subjects. Decided by the Customer. Sensitive personal data and data of children and adolescents are not allowed (section 7).
  • Instructions. DexaData processes Pipeline Data only to provide the Beta and on the Customer's documented instructions, which are these terms and the Customer's use and configuration of the Beta. DexaData tells the Customer if it believes an instruction breaks the LGPD, and does not use Pipeline Data for any other purpose.
  • Confidentiality. Only people who need it to run, support or secure the service can access Pipeline Data, and they are bound by confidentiality.
  • Security. DexaData applies the technical and administrative measures described in the Privacy Policy (LGPD, art. 46). The Customer is responsible for the security of its code, credentials and the systems its pipelines connect to.
  • Sub-processors. The Customer authorizes the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy. We will announce a new sub-processor on that page and by email before it starts processing Pipeline Data; if the Customer objects, its remedy is to stop using the Beta and have its data deleted. DexaData binds each sub-processor to data protection obligations equivalent to these.
  • International transfer. Pipeline Data is stored and processed in the United States (Google Cloud, region us-east1), under the transfer mechanism described in the Privacy Policy. The Customer is responsible for any transfer its own pipelines make to other places.
  • Assistance. DexaData forwards to the Customer, without undue delay, any request from a data subject about Pipeline Data and does not answer it on its own, and gives the Customer the reasonable help it needs to answer requests (LGPD, art. 18) and requests from the ANPD.
  • Incidents. DexaData notifies the Customer without undue delay, and where possible within 48 hours, after confirming a security incident that affected Pipeline Data, with the information then available, so that the Customer can meet its own duties under art. 48 of the LGPD and Resolution CD/ANPD 15/2024.
  • Records and information. DexaData keeps records of its processing (LGPD, art. 37) and, on reasonable request, gives the Customer the information needed to show compliance with this section. On-site audits are not offered during the free Beta.
  • End of processing. When the organization is deleted or the Beta ends, DexaData deletes Pipeline Data under section 6, except what the law requires it to keep. The Customer can copy its data before then; DexaData does not return data in any other way.
  • Liability. Each party is liable as set out in arts. 42 to 45 of the LGPD; between the parties, section 14 applies to the extent the law allows.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access, or end the Beta for everyone, at any time, including for abuse, security reasons, inactivity, breach of these terms or because the Beta is over. We give notice by email first, except in case of abuse, breach of these terms or a security risk, when we may act at once and tell you afterwards. You may stop using the Beta at any time and ask us to delete your account and organization by writing to [email protected] from the email of the account; we delete them within 30 days of the request, except what the law requires us to keep. Sections 6, 8, 9 (until deletion), 10 to 14 and 17 survive the end of these terms.

11. Intellectual property

  • The Dexaflow engine is open source under the Apache License 2.0. Dexaflow Cloud (the console, the control plane and their operation) is proprietary to DexaData. These terms give you no right to it other than to use the Beta while they are in force.
  • Your DAGs, code and data stay yours. You give DexaData a limited, non-exclusive, free license to host, copy, run and process them only as needed to provide the Beta to you.
  • Apache, Apache Airflow and the Airflow logo are registered trademarks of the Apache Software Foundation. Dexaflow is not affiliated with or endorsed by the ASF.

12. Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them freely and free of charge to improve our products, without any obligation to you. Do not include confidential information or personal data of others in feedback.

13. Confidentiality and security reports

The Beta is not public. Information about the Beta that we share with you only as a beta user (such as unreleased features and known issues) is confidential; do not share it outside your organization. Please do not publish details of security weaknesses you find before you report them to us and we have had a reasonable time to fix them. Report them to [email protected]. Security testing beyond normal use needs our written authorization (section 7).

14. Limitation of liability

The Beta is a free service provided for testing, which is a free (gratuitous) contract for you. Therefore, to the extent permitted by law:

  • DexaData is liable only for damage caused by its wilful misconduct or gross negligence;
  • DexaData is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, loss of business or business interruption, nor for loss or corruption of data, which you agree to prevent by keeping your own copies (section 6);
  • DexaData is not liable for failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, by its providers' infrastructure, by your code, credentials or systems, or by use against these terms;
  • DexaData's total liability to the Customer and its users, for all claims related to the Beta, is limited to R$ 1,000.00 (one thousand reais).

These limits do not apply to wilful misconduct, to liability towards data subjects that the LGPD does not allow to be limited, or to any other liability that Brazilian law does not allow to be limited or excluded. If, despite section 3, a court considers a user to be a consumer, this section and the venue clause in section 17 apply only to the extent the Consumer Defense Code (Law 8,078/1990) allows.

15. Personal data

How we handle personal data as controller (your account, acceptance records, logs, contact messages), and your rights under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018), are described in the Privacy Policy. Personal data in your pipelines is covered by section 9.

16. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms during the Beta. Each new version gets a new version line on this page and is announced by email or in the console; it applies only after you accept it in the console (section 2). If you do not accept a new version, you can stop using the Beta and have your data deleted (section 10).

17. Governing law, venue and general terms

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
  • Before going to court, please write to us so that we can try to resolve the matter in good faith.
  • The courts of the judicial district (comarca) of DexaData's registered office, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, have jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms, except where the law gives a party the right to sue elsewhere.
  • If any part of these terms is held invalid, the rest remains in force. A failure or delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
  • You may not transfer these terms or your access to the Beta. DexaData may transfer them to a company that succeeds it in the business, with notice to you.
  • These terms are published in English and Portuguese, and both versions have the same content. If they conflict, the Portuguese version prevails.

18. Contact and support

Support during the Beta is best effort, on business days from 9:00 to 18:00 Brasília time, with no SLA: [email protected]. For these terms, deletion requests, security reports and anything else: [email protected]. Notices from us go to the email of your account.
